Worship at the Strathspey Kirks
Worship can happen anywhere, at any time. Whenever we encounter God, in nature, in each other, in the quiet whisper in our ear or in great big neon lights, when we notice and say 'thanks', or 'wow', or 'please'....that's worship!
But gathering together, creating a space for Jesus to be our focus and in the middle of our lives, is such an important part of being church, and communal worship is central to everything we do.
On a Sunday morning, we gather in each of our three churches for a time of worship. And, because everything changed in Covid times, many of us now gather online instead or as well is meeting in-person. On this page, we've got details of how to join in with any of these times of worship and please know that YOU ARE WELCOME, always, at any of them.
To make sure everyone can join in, our main Sunday worship is the same online over the telephone and in-person in our buildings. You'll find links below to video, audio and written versions of our weekly worship, posted here each Saturday. For folks not online, we also have a recording to listen to any time by dialling 01479 788800. From Monday 19th July 2021, we move to Level 0, but as the COVID numbers are still on the increase, we still need to be vigilant. However social distancing will move from 2m to 1m, which means that we will be able to accommodate more people in our 3 churches. We will still have to wear masks and you will still need to let your respective Session Clerks know you if you are coming to worship.
